The owner of this company helped us TREMENDOUSLY when we were having our house built several years ago. Our original contractor committed fraud and abandoned our project before completion. To provide an appropriate foundation for this review our property serves as our family retreat on the outskirts of Fredericksburg. The core of the retreat is a large log home built in Ohio in 1840 which was relocated to our site. Needless to say it required highly skilled craftsmen to properly finish it out. Cody Ytuarte and his team provided exactly what was needed. On the interior they constructed a 30’ floating staircase which is nothing less than magnificent. In addition they hand built and installed the railing posts, milled , tongue & grooved and installed the second floor loft floor out of 3” reclaimed 1840 clear heart pine, installed vintage ceiling risers and all of the interior barn doors.
On the exterior they constructed a water treatment building, well house and interior barn wallboards all out of vintage material. Cody and his team are not only highly skilled craftsmen they are artists.
Their work was extraordinary well done, it was timely and on budget. As for pricing nothing in the custom vintage space could be considered reasonable these days but Cody delivered the required product in superior quality, on time , on budget and at a more than fair price for what was requested and required. Additionally they were more than flexible to requested changes. I have no hesitation whatsoever in engaging his services on future projects.
